The Sex and the City universe was, for a brief moment, back in full swing—but now, And Just Like That… is coming to an end. Last week, news broke that the show’s third season would be its last.

With only one episode left, I doubt the writers will wrap up every loose end (they even forgot Lisa’s dad had already died!). So, I’m taking a guess at where our favorite 50-something friend group will end up. Here’s what I think:

Carrie will end up with Duncan (sort of)
This week’s episode had a meta moment about whether Carrie’s “fictional protagonist” (sure, Jan—it’s basically autofiction) could end her story without a man. That felt like a hint. While we’ve seen Carrie single (and fabulous) before, I think the show will leave her testing the waters with her grumpy-but-hot British neighbor, Duncan. Maybe not a full happily-ever-after, but a little final flirtation feels on-brand.

Miranda’s son Brady will step up as a dad
Right now, Brady’s baby mama (played brilliantly by Ben Stiller’s daughter, Ella—who’s also the granddaughter of Anne Meara, the actress who played Brady’s grandma on SATC—love a legacy!) wants nothing to do with him. But I predict a classic hospital scene where Brady holds his newborn and reluctantly falls in love, just like Miranda did. At least he’ll have her around to help with baby duty (even if she’s on the phone with Carrie the whole time).

Seema will go full bridezilla
This week, the show’s ultimate diva exchanged “I love yous” with her handsome (if overly fragrant) landscaper boyfriend. I’d be shocked if she doesn’t end up engaged by the finale. Sure, it’s not Pride and Prejudice, and marriage plots aren’t as trendy—but the idea of Seema planning an over-the-top wedding in her 50s? Iconic.

Lisa Todd Wexley might cheat on her husband
I adore Lisa, even if she felt randomly added at first. But the signs are there: she’s been flirting with her film editor while her husband, Herbert, obsesses over his failed comptroller campaign. A spinoff where Lisa navigates divorce and dating as a mom of two, with Charlotte as her wingwoman? Yes, please—manifesting this now.

Samantha Jones will make a surprise return (wishful thinking)
Realistically? Probably not. Our beloved, unfiltered queen has been reduced to a texting buddy. But wouldn’t it be amazing if she swooped in for one last jaw-dropping scene? A girl can dream.
