Our Legacy Work Shop x Magniberg: A Cozy Swedish Collaboration

Our Legacy Work Shop has teamed up with Magniberg—a bedwear brand founded by a fashion designer and a florist—for a distinctly Swedish collaboration. “We’ve been close friends for many years and occasionally work on small projects together. This is one we’re especially proud to share,” says OL’s Jockum Hallin.

The collection is a laid-back capsule of loungewear (pajamas and robes) and home textiles (towels and bedding), perfect for easing into fall as summer winds down.

In Sweden, the shift between seasons is particularly striking—by November, Stockholm sees sunset as early as 3:40 p.m., with chilly temperatures setting in. That bittersweet mood of endings and new beginnings, much like the nostalgia in Don Henley’s The Boys of Summer, is beautifully captured in the campaign by photographer JH Engström. He shot near his summer cottage in Värmland, a region known for its forests and lakes. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen imagery that feels more Swedish,” Hallin remarks.

The collection features long-sleeve tees, relaxed “flow” pants, and plush “gelato bathrobes” in sun-bleached shades of pearl gray, ochre, and sand, all made from naturally dyed organic cotton. Designed for late summer, the terry cloth is extra thick for warmth. The campaign, shot on film, highlights the pieces’ comforting weight.

Bengt Thornefors of Magniberg describes the products as having an “analog” quality, and Hallin agrees, calling them “homewares made in a homely way.”

These pieces are versatile, meant for both indoors and out. “Home doesn’t always have to be inside,” Thornefors notes—especially in summer, when boundaries blur and, as Hallin puts it, you can “just poke around doing nothing, content with a slow, happy life.”

Yet there’s still room for adventure—Thornefors likens the campaign’s spirit to Astrid Lindgren’s whimsical tales. Pippi Longstocking would likely approve of this collaboration, which celebrates “sleep and beach, the unworn hours of life.”
