In May, A$AP Rocky revealed on The Run-Through podcast that Rihanna often raids his closet—and it seems he’s returning the favor.

“I want to inspire men to be daring. Who decided what’s feminine or masculine? I don’t see any boundaries,” he said. “It’s not fair that my girl can just take anything from my closet and wear it. She does it all the time! Sometimes I’ll see her in an interview or a paparazzi shot and think, ‘Wait, that’s my Miu Miu jacket! I’ve been looking for that since 2021!’”

He added with a laugh, “It goes both ways, though. There are pieces of hers I’ve taken that she doesn’t even know about.”

Well, she knows now. On August 13, the rapper and designer stepped out for his Highest 2 Lowest premiere in Los Angeles wearing a navy nylon suit from ERL’s Fall 2025 collection, a gray shirt, and a polka-dot tie—all by Eli Russell Linnetz—along with Ray-Bans (where he serves as creative director), silver hoop earrings, and black patent loafers. But Rocky and his stylist, Matthew Henson, didn’t have to look far for inspiration—the suit and tie were straight from Rihanna’s recent wardrobe.

Rihanna recently wore the same ERL suit and dotted tie to dinner at her favorite spot, Giorgio Baldi. It was one of her standout summer looks, alongside her sculptural Alaïa “condom” dress and other belly-baring outfits. She styled it differently, though, pairing it with a sheer Savage X Fenty bra.

The sleek nylon suit embodies ERL’s minimalist, monochrome aesthetic—what Vogue’s José Criales-Unzueta calls a “very ’90s-but-timeless American sportswear vibe.” It’s no surprise both Rihanna and Rocky are drawn to it: they share a love for premium fabrics, sharp tailoring, and high-end design. Rihanna has also embraced maternity suiting during her pregnancies, along with flowy archival Issey Miyake pieces and casual hoodies and denim.

As a family, their style is next-level. Rihanna recently took their two sons to The Smurfs premiere dressed in mini custom Dior by Jonathan Anderson. She’s also been spotted shopping for baby clothes ahead of their third child’s arrival. With three kids and two fashion-forward parents, their wardrobe archive is endless.
