It’s a huge day for Swifties! Tonight, Taylor Swift made her podcast debut by joining her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason on their show New Heights.

In a special pre-season episode, Taylor shared how she and Travis first met, talked about reclaiming her music masters, and even revealed the cover of her upcoming 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, set to release in October.

Below, Vogue’s resident Swifties share their reactions to the New Heights episode featuring Taylor.

Florence O’Connor: Ugh, the countdown after the scheduled release time is such a tease. Fake news that it started at 7 p.m.!
Irene Kim: YouTube hasn’t crashed yet, even with 455,312 Swifties waiting on the New Heights channel.
Kim: Wow, it actually started at 7:01 p.m.! Love that.
O’Connor: OMG, she’s so gorgeous!
Kim: I always forget what Taylor’s speaking voice sounds like because I’m so used to just hearing her sing.
O’Connor: Wait, where did she go? Come back! I don’t care about the guys!
Kim: OMG, 774,809 viewers now. Swiftie nation is strong.
O’Connor: What does “92%ers” mean? (First-time podcast watcher here.)
Kim: That’s the New Heights fanbase, Flo!!! (I sometimes watch for Swiftie updates.)
Kim: Can we get Jason Kelce to host the Met Gala livestream in 2026? His energy is unmatched.
O’Connor: It’s hilarious that Jason’s on Zoom. Not even Taylor Swift can drag him away from Philly.
O’Connor: I’m obsessed—why am I grinning just listening to her talk?!
Kim: If Swifties and 92%ers teamed up, we’d take over the world.
Kim: OMG OMG OMG OMG—
O’Connor: “This podcast got me a boyfriend!” My boyfriend works for a podcast too!
Kim: OMG!!!!!!!! Should I start dating a podcaster now?!
O’Connor: Idk, it’s been three years and mine still hasn’t confessed his love on air.
Kim: Travis casually expecting to meet Taylor at her Eras concert because he knew the elevator lady is iconic. And this confirms that the podcast where he mentioned giving her a friendship bracelet was truly the start of it all. So romantic.
O’Connor: Her saying she’s not an online person makes me want to be more mysterious.
O’Connor: They’re holding hands! So much PDA!!!
Kim: STOP—her saying this is all she’s dreamed of since she was a teen? Her Speak Now dreams are coming true.
Kim: Almost a million viewers, and YouTube hasn’t crashed. Impressive. (Sorry, YouTube, I’ll visit more often.)
O’Connor: Taylor is so in love. I’m emotional. (Disclaimer: Third glass of wine. Working from vacation!) This feels like listening to their vows live.
Kim: Taylor and Travis are soulmates. The Pattern confirmed it! (Remember when we blogged about her Tortured Poets album a year ago and Travis wasn’t on the app? Now they’re a perfect match.)
O’Connor: So relatable that she doesn’t get football. The sport makes no sense!
Kim: Also, I was mid-The Summer I Turned Pretty with 20 minutes left, but had to pause for Taylor. Jenny Han will understand—it’s a big night for Swifties.
O’Connor: Lowkey, is Jeff B. mad she dropped this on TSITP’s release day? Their numbers must be suffering!
Kim: Absolutely!!! Sorry, Jeff, just one night! (Also, I’m using way too many exclamation points—just like Travis.)Here’s a more natural and fluent version of the text while keeping the original meaning:

Taylor mentioned on tonight’s podcast that he loves using exclamation points.

O’Connor joked about Travis doing “hard-hitting journalism” by asking Taylor how it felt to buy back her masters. It was sweet how she explained the backstory as if the million people watching live didn’t already know what happened.

O’Connor then quipped about overseeing the DOGUE contest with the line: “I’m in the business of human emotion and would so much rather lead heart-first.”

Kim noted how emotional Taylor was getting, calling it sweet and expressing love for her. She also pointed out how supportive Jason and Travis were, with Jason starting to tear up.

O’Connor joked that she’d also send her mom in first for big business decisions.

Kim admitted she was actually crying, saying how happy she was that Taylor got her masters back. “No one deserves it more, and no one messes with Taylor Swift. Her enemies are OUR enemies!”

O’Connor highlighted Travis singing “It’s been a long time coming,” repeating it for emphasis.

Kim noticed Jason getting emotional, his face turning red, and praised his support for Taylor and his brother. “I love him and Kylie.”

She predicted Taylor’s next album, The Life of a Showgirl, would be full of happiness since she’s finally free, owns her masters, and is in love.

O’Connor teased some gossip, pointing out that Taylor calling Phoebe Bridgers a friend was a subtle dig, given Gracie Abrams had been spending time with Paul Mescal all summer. But then she shifted back to celebrating Taylor’s success.

Kim reflected on how Travis, though he came into Taylor’s life later (missing her earlier eras), truly understands her dedication to music. “This was the partner she needed.”

O’Connor laughed at Travis joking after Taylor praised Jason’s question: “So good, I don’t even know what you just asked.”

She also noted Taylor kept calling Travis her boyfriend, shutting down engagement rumors.

Kim mentioned Taylor’s hand stayed on Travis’s lap the whole time.

O’Connor loved when Travis said, “You make a third 1989, I’ll listen to it again,” calling him a king.

Kim giggled about Taylor touching Travis’s chin while Jason laughed like a kid.

She said Taylor’s album news gave her a dopamine rush that would last 24 hours, and this podcast might carry her through the weekend.

O’Connor admitted she and Irene screamed “All Too Well” at the Eras Tour in Miami.

She then excitedly announced “OCTOBER 3RD!!!” (Mean Girls Day), joking that Taylor was reclaiming it.

Kim said it felt like Taylor loved them, always releasing her best albums in their birth month (like Midnights), and now this. “Everyone will be forced to stream it at my birthday party.”

She called Travis the “best manifester ever” and a romantic.

Jason joked that Travis wouldn’t have known the word “engulfed” before dating Taylor. “We love a woman who makes a man smarter than a fifth grader.”

O’Connor realized she needed more hobbies after hearing Taylor talk about hers, admitting she couldn’t use the “no time” excuse anymore.

She suggested their next “Florene reacts” should be to making Funfetti sourdough (to feel closer to Taylor) or owning a wild otter (to feel closer to Travis).

Kim said Taylor had given fans more in 42 minutes than in the past 10 years, making it feel like a FaceTime with a friend—but one she maybe shouldn’t be watching.

O’Connor told Irene the podcast was actually two hours long, leaving Kim speechless: “Omg…………”O’Connor: Ugh, she’s been an Eagles fan since childhood. She totally manifested this!

O’Connor: What even is a power skip?

Kim: Taylor is really trying to avoid being seen as an athlete. She’s just like me.

Kim: The idea of Taylor Swift playing beer pong is cracking me up.

O’Connor: “It’s not a part of my metrics for self-worth” is such an iconic line.

O’Connor: Only an academic would hide Easter eggs in a graduation speech. She’s truly one of a kind.

Kim: Travis just said, “I’m 87 and she’s 13.” He’s such a Swiftie.

O’Connor: Okay, we’ve officially hit the one-hour mark, and the resident Swifties are signing off. We’re going to enjoy the second hour of this podcast the way Taylor would want—by watching, not working.

Kim: BUT WE ARE SO EXCITED FOR THE LIFE OF A SHOWGIRL! WE ARE NOT OKAY! I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE SABRINA COLLAB!!! MY FAVORITE POP GIRLS TOGETHER!!!

O’Connor: And don’t worry—we’ll definitely be back to react to the album on October 3rd.
