Rosie Assoulin isn’t designing for everyday wear. “These pieces are little special moments,” she says of her resort 2026 collection—a vibrant mix of playful prints, bold colors, and structured silhouettes with sporty touches. “It doesn’t feel wasteful because you’ll always have that perfect white summer dress you reach for season after season. No matter how old it gets—even if it’s 12 years—it still feels fresh every time.”
Assoulin focuses on creating clothes for memorable occasions, whether it’s a dinner party or a getaway. “I want to feel amazing every day. Life’s too short not to dress for those precious moments,” she explains. “We’re building a wardrobe for those experiences.” But that doesn’t mean the pieces aren’t adaptable. With convertible tops and a maxi dress featuring a removable bustle (available in pink plaid and butter yellow), she shows how special-occasion clothing can be worn in multiple ways. “Not every event needs a bustle, so why not have the choice?” she says.
While occasionwear is her forte, the collection also includes standout casual pieces. Many designs blend sporty and artisanal elements, like floral upholstery-inspired trousers or stem-green shorts with yellow accents. Even the yellow spongy crepe maxi dress, with its scalloped drop waist, takes inspiration from vintage swimwear.
By limiting herself to just two collections a year, Assoulin embraces thoughtful editing. (Her extra creativity spills into her pottery—bright yellow vases fill her showroom.) This collection proves that maximalism can be refined, striking the perfect balance between bold and wearable.
