A vintage 1960s photo from Ferrari’s Maranello workshop—where Enzo Ferrari established the legendary car company in 1947—captures a stylish woman in fur and cat-eye sunglasses watching Ferrari craftsmen at work. During a preview of the collection, creative director Rocco Iannone revealed this image was central to the resort 2026 lineup. He noted its significance in showcasing Ferrari’s cultural impact, explaining that the brand’s name alone has become a benchmark for excellence. With this in mind, Iannone crafted a collection rooted in the workshop aesthetic.
The first outfits draw from engineers in technical fields, featuring sleek coated denim trench coats and leather separates, often paired with Ferrari-red ties. Automotive influences appear throughout but remain understated—zippers shaped like car silhouettes, leather jackets with built-in spoilers reminiscent of Ferrari designs. Some pieces even repurpose real car parts, like recycled Ferrari tires transformed into yarn for knitwear and iridescent suits—a patented fabric called Q-Cycle—showcasing innovative sustainability.
Other designs take cues from vintage racing gear, such as roomy leather cargo pants inspired by 1930s pilots or the 7×7 check pattern from classic racing suits, reimagined on silk dresses, knitwear, and embossed leather. Standout accessories include the soft La Ferrari Dino bag, a nod to the Dino model named after Enzo’s son.
