Taylor Swift looked just like a doll herself at last night’s Toy Story 5 premiere in Los Angeles. Her outfit had a sweet, subtle detail that paid tribute to her favorite cowgirl.
She wore a mini-dress from Erdem’s fall 2026 collection. It had a strapless bodice decorated with bows and strips of different floral fabrics, leading into a sculptural skirt with raw, unfinished hems. The look felt perfectly romantic and nostalgic, taken from designer Erdem Moralioglu’s 20th anniversary show, which blended all his personal and historical inspirations.
Instead of the runway styling, Swift chose taupe satin Alevi Milano sandals. For jewelry, she wore a Selim Mouzannar ring, a Miraki oval tennis bracelet, and, of course, her Kindred Lubeck engagement ring from fiancé Travis Kelce (who wasn’t there last night).
A more surprising accessory? Instead of a purse, she carried her own original Toy Story movie VHS tape, which she asked stars like Tom Hanks and Joan Cusack to sign. Swift also wore an antique diamond Sophie Jane horseshoe necklace—a subtle, delicate nod to her favorite character, Jessie. The last time she wore it was on a night out in New York in April, where she also—curiously, and unknown to everyone at the time—wore the Toy Story colors of blue, yellow, and red. This was just before her contribution to the movie’s soundtrack was announced, so it seems like Swift was up to her usual tricks of hiding Easter eggs in her outfits.

At last night’s premiere, she wore a flowing red and white dress from the Dior spring 2026 couture show.

Later in the evening, Swift gave a surprise performance of her song from the official Toy Story 5 soundtrack, “I Knew It, I Knew You.” A curtain lifted to reveal the singer at a piano, wearing a yellow and floral embroidered Oscar de la Renta gown.
She performed a second time, singing “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” alongside Randy Newman, who took over on the piano.

The song, released last Friday, is written from Jessie’s perspective. Swift posted a video of herself as a child in her own cowgirl outfit to go with the new track: “Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once. And being a [Toy Story] kid from the age of 5 til now… is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond.”
