Former Vice President Kamala Harris isn’t slowing down after her historic presidential campaign last year. On Thursday, Simon & Schuster announced that Harris’s campaign memoir, 107 Days, will be published on September 23, 2025.
Harris has reportedly been working on the book for months, with editing by Simon & Schuster CEO Jonathan Karp and 37 Ink publisher Dawn Davis.
In a video announcing the book, Harris said, “Just over a year ago, I launched my campaign for president—107 days traveling the country, fighting for our future. It was the shortest presidential campaign in modern history. Since leaving office, I’ve spent time reflecting on those days, and with honesty and thought, I’ve written a behind-the-scenes account of that journey. I believe there’s value in sharing what I saw, what I learned, and what it will take to move forward.”
Harris isn’t the first presidential candidate to write a high-profile campaign memoir—Hillary Clinton’s What Happened comes to mind—but her unique campaign, with its celebrity endorsements, bold vision, and relatable “Second Family,” stands apart. September can’t come soon enough.
