Amal and George Clooney have reunited at their New York home, enjoying each other’s company and the city’s vibrant offerings. While Amal recently attended the Cannes Film Festival and an event in Osaka, George has been wrapping up the final performances of his Broadway play Good Night, and Good Luck.
On Friday evening, the couple dined at Midtown’s Polo Bar with their longtime friend Bono. They shared steaks, clams oreganata, and fine French wine, laughing as they strolled through the streets afterward.
Amal kept her look effortlessly chic in a cherry-print Stella McCartney mesh dress with bronze pumps, a pearlescent clutch, and gold earrings. Her brunette hair, styled in a deep side part, showed off caramel highlights. George went for a relaxed navy suit with a black polo and a gray baseball cap, while Bono stayed true to his signature all-black ensemble with red-tinted sunglasses.
The Clooneys and Bono—along with his wife, Alison Hewson—have been close friends for years, attending each other’s weddings and celebrating holidays together. Amal and Bono also share a commitment to humanitarian causes.
Earlier in the week, the Clooneys mingled backstage at George’s play with friends like Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, and Chelsea Clinton. George wore his classic tuxedo, while Amal stunned in a sleek black one-shouldered dress—paired with the same bronze pumps from Friday night.
With George’s play ending its run soon, the couple will have more time for date nights and exploring the city.
