Gardening isn’t typically MSGM’s scene—this is a brand more suited to downtown creatives than backyard growers. But this season, Massimo Giorgetti embraced florals and a carefree lightness. Not because he’s swapping sneakers for rain boots, but because, in a world that feels increasingly unstable, the ever-optimistic designer chose softness as a quiet rebellion—a way to escape without ignoring the chaos, daring to flourish despite it.
Giorgetti’s garden-inspired collection kept an urban edge. Sturdy canvas became relaxed trousers and practical overalls, paired with cropped, zippered jackets in waxed cotton that felt more streetwear than potting shed. Shirts mixed broderie anglaise, macramé, and pinstriped poplin, layered effortlessly over loose denim or matching micro-minis. Airy cotton taffeta bloomers and crinolines puffed up like hot air balloons, ready to float over a lush green paradise.
Elsewhere, a belted trench and sharp floral tapestry blazer borrowed pockets from gardener’s aprons. Wildflowers bloomed on stretchy lycra tops, while a bold pop-art vase print added punch. Even a classic tablecloth check was blown up across a duster coat and matching skirt. Life might not be a picnic, but Giorgetti’s playful garden was in full, defiant bloom.
