Today, we are excited to announce the return of the PhotoVogue Festival for its 10th edition, taking place from March 1 to 4, 2026. This special anniversary will be celebrated during Milan Fashion Week at one of the city’s most important historical libraries, the Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense.
A place of great significance for Milan and the world, the Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense is deeply connected to this year’s festival theme. It is a space that nurtures and protects knowledge in all its complexity, at a time when diversity and multiplicity are increasingly under threat. This year’s festival, Women by Women, celebrates the many ways women express and imagine themselves, while questioning the assumption that women’s rights, visibility, and recognition are guaranteed.
With a rich program of exhibitions, panels, presentations, and digital showcases, the festival creates a space where women’s stories are seen and valued—a place where representation becomes a form of power and resistance. Moving beyond the limiting binary of the Male and Female Gaze, PhotoVogue aims to reflect the fluidity and complexity of women’s lived experiences.
The PhotoVogue Festival also coincides with the launch of the March issue of Vogue Italia, which dedicates significant editorial space to the Women by Women theme, extending the festival’s conversations across print, digital, and cultural platforms.
PhotoVogue Festival 2026 is organized in collaboration with the Pinacoteca di Brera and the Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense, with the patronage of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana.
