Following its stops in New York, London, and Paris, Vogue World’s fourth annual event came to California this fall for a spectacular fusion of fashion and film. As models and celebrities, dressed in everything from costumes and couture to custom creations and vintage treasures, gathered on the historic Paramount lot, here’s a recap of all the standout moments from Vogue World: Hollywood 2025.

Nicole Kidman kicked off the evening with a show-stopping performance of “Put the Blame On Mame” from the 1946 film Gilda, originally starring Rita Hayworth. After sponsored appearances by Maude Apatow and Cynthia Erivo, Kidman took to the runway in a custom black draped satin bustier dress by Chanel’s Matthieu Blazy, paying homage to Hayworth’s iconic look. The segment was directed by Baz Luhrmann.

Kendall Jenner then graced the catwalk in Kidman’s original Moulin Rouge costume from 2001, which she wore to perform “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend.” The tribute to Jessica Rabbit was brief, but Jenner’s appearance drew cheers from front-row guests like designer Aurora James, Oscar winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and legendary costumer Ruth E. Carter.

Kyle MacLachlan won over the crowd when he appeared in a baby blue Tom Ford dressing gown, following a parade of models in extravagant outfits and Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page. He was joined by Adut Akech and the statuesque Elizabeth Debicki.

In the second act, a tribute to rebels, Gabbriette wore Schiaparelli, Kodi Smit-McPhee channeled the Mad Hatter, and Anok Yai portrayed Edward Scissorhands before The Gilded Age‘s Louisa Jacobson took on the role in custom McQueen. As Jacobson stomped down the runway, Anok gave Gabbriette an impromptu haircut.

Act three made way for royalty as Julia Garner, dressed as Marie Antoinette from Sofia Coppola’s film, skipped down the catwalk in Manolos. She was followed by trays of pastries, a confident LaKeith Stanfield, and an elegant Greta Lee, both in Dior.

A touching tribute to Diane Keaton featured model Betsy Gaghan in a head-to-toe Ralph Lauren outfit inspired by Keaton’s look in the 1977 romantic comedy Annie Hall. Keaton’s own voice singing “Seems Like Old Times” played in the background, creating an emotional moment.

Gracie Abrams opened the fourth act with a sweet performance of Carole King’s “I Feel the Earth Move,” transitioning into her own song “That’s So True,” as Adria Arjona sang along from the front row. She was accompanied by Cara Delevingne in custom Marc Jacobs, Lila Moss in Valentino, and models in costumes inspired by films like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Walk the Line, A Complete Unknown, Atonement, Grease, Rear Window, and Breathless.

Hunter Schafer transformed into Tilda Swinton’s character from the 1992 film Orlando, wearing a plush period dress and munching on an apple. She was joined by Jeff Goldblum, who made a sparkling entrance in Gucci as the wizard from Wicked.

Finally, an all-star cast championed Afrofuturism, with Angela Bassett leading the way as Black Panther. At Vogue World: Hollywood, Queen Ramonda made an appearance.

The sixth act was a stunning showcase featuring Danai Gurira and Teyana Taylor as the Dora Milaje from Black Panther, Jeremy Pope in Off-White, Jodie Turner-Smith in Diotima, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in an original zoot suit from Malcolm X, F1’s Damson Idris in Dries Van Noten, and the incredibly regal Angela Bassett as Queen Ramonda.

Doja Cat led the way into the lively finale, which included costumes from Dune and a runway comeback by Adriana Lima in Burberry. Doja Cat performed “Gorgeous” in a custom chainmail mini dress by costume designer Michael Schmidt, inspired by Tina Turner’s iconic 1985 look from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. As the Vogue World 2025 show concluded, all participants returned for a bow, and Baz Luhrmann announced, “It’s a wrap!”
