PhotoVogue is thrilled to announce the 40 artists chosen from our East and Southeast Asian Panorama open call.

These artists come from across the region and its diaspora, showcasing the vibrant cultural and artistic diversity of East and Southeast Asia. Their work explores identity, heritage, and modern themes through fashion stories, documentary approaches, and personal narratives. Each project stood out for its visual harmony, clear concept, and compelling relevance.

This open call was dedicated to photographers and filmmakers from East and Southeast Asia, highlighting our commitment to amplifying their voices on a global scale. The selected artists will exhibit at the upcoming PhotoVogue Festival in Milan and be featured in Vogue editions around the world.

GRANT RECIPIENTS
As part of this initiative, PhotoVogue has awarded three special grants to exceptional artists:

$4,500 – Outstanding Vision Grant
Awarded to an artist whose work pushes creative limits and sets new standards: Adam Han-Chun Lin (Taiwan).

$2,000 – Vision Grant
Awarded to an artist with a distinctive perspective and powerful artistic voice: Keigo Wezel (Japan).

$1,500 – Rising Voice Grant
Awarded to an emerging artist whose work shows originality and great promise: Narantsetseg Khuyagaa (Mongolia).

There’s more to come: in partnership with Vogue Japan and Vogue Taiwan, we’ll soon announce the artists selected for Vogue Japan’s special open call, as well as the participants in PhotoVogue’s first-ever Asian Masterclass, held with Vogue Taiwan in Taipei.
