Milan Fashion Week’s Spring 2026 ready-to-wear collections are shaping up to be a standout season. Running from September 23 to 29, the event will feature 55 in-person shows and four digital presentations—a slight increase from last season. But the real buzz surrounds a handful of key showcases, as several major brands unveil fresh creative visions.
All eyes will be on Gucci, which will host an intimate presentation on Tuesday to debut Demna’s highly anticipated first collection for the house. The brand has promised an exploration of its past, present, and future. This moment is crucial—both creatively and commercially—as Kering’s flagship label looks to reverse its recent sales slump.
The next morning, Simone Bellotti will present his debut collection for Jil Sander, continuing OTB’s wave of creative changes after Glenn Martens’ Margiela debut during couture week. Later, on Saturday afternoon, Louise Trotter will showcase her first designs for Bottega Veneta.
Notably absent from the official schedule is Versace. The brand was expected to stage its first runway show under new creative director Dario Vitale, who took over from Donatella Versace in March (she remains as chief brand ambassador). Rumors suggested a presentation might still happen to unveil Vitale’s debut collection, but without a confirmed slot, plans remain unclear.
Beyond the debuts, the week is packed with highlights. Diesel opens the week with a show on Tuesday afternoon, while Milan heavyweights like Fendi, Prada, Ferragamo, Tod’s, Moschino, and Max Mara return to the lineup. David Koma will present his second collection for Blumarine, and brands like Boss, Calcaterra, Federico Cina, Stella Jean, and The Attico are back after brief absences.
London-based Knwls makes its Milan Fashion Week debut on Wednesday night, possibly signaling global ambitions after a two-season break. Meanwhile, Indian streetwear-inspired label Dhruv Kapoor will also join the womenswear calendar for the first time.
Closing out the week, Giorgio Armani will mark its 50th anniversary with a runway show on Sunday, September 28.
