Jenna Ortega’s press tour wardrobe for Wednesday season two has moved beyond the typical celebrity trend of method dressing, opting instead for a more daring and creative approach. While the show’s aesthetic leans toward Victorian gothic with high necks, velvet, and lace, Ortega and her stylist Enrique Melendez have expanded the look to include something more mystical—like a sea witch.

At the Paris premiere, Ortega wore a chocolate brown Vivienne Westwood gown from the Fall 2025 collection, designed by Andreas Kronthaler. The dress featured a plunging ruffled neckline that dipped below the navel, layered over a sheer cream corset, with a cinched waist and a high slit. She put her own spin on the runway look by adding a brown leather belt, stilettos, and Bondeye jewelry, including a bold cross pendant. The premiere’s theme, Wednesday’s Beach Club, made her gothic-meets-seaside vibe all the more fitting.

Her hair, styled by Cesar Deleon Ramirez, was swept into a soft half-up, half-down look with wispy front pieces. Her bleached eyebrows (for an upcoming project) and makeup—a smoky gray eye and taupe-lined lips by Mélanie Inglessis using Dior Beauty—completed the hauntingly chic look.

This “haunted pirate” ensemble is just one standout from Ortega’s press tour. In London, she wore a reptilian-inspired gown from Ashi Studio before switching to a champagne-toned archival DKNY dress. Recently, while promoting her film Hurry Up Tomorrow, she and Melendez had fun exploring DKNY’s vintage archives, even recreating a Carrie Bradshaw-esque newspaper dress moment.

The first four episodes of Wednesday season two premiere on Netflix August 6, with the remaining episodes following soon after. The new season returns to the eerie halls of Nevermore Academy.

With more premieres and press stops ahead, who knows what gothic glam looks Jenna Ortega will serve next?
