Ready to refresh your collection of stylish everyday staples? Frame, the LA brand started by Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson in 2012, has just launched a new collaboration to help you do exactly that. Model, influencer, and TV personality Amelia Gray has teamed up with the beloved label for a 16-piece capsule of denim and ready-to-wear pieces inspired by her signature edgy, effortless street style.
Gray shared with Vogue, “It’s really important to me to stay true to myself and keep my independence. If my name is on something, I want to be completely invested in it and for it to reflect who I am. This collaboration does that.”
Denim is at the heart of the collection. Staying true to Frame’s aesthetic, the pieces range from relaxed, baggy fits that channel that off-duty supermodel vibe to sleeker, minimalist styles that work for any occasion. Gray said, “I was really particular about the washes—I went through my whole denim collection and asked, ‘What’s missing? What do I love? What do I wish I had?’ It was so fun to design these because I was designing them for myself.”
The collection includes three key silhouettes, each in carefully chosen washes: The Gray, a mid-rise style that lengthens the legs and flatters the waist; The Detour, a loose, low-rise cut for the effortlessly cool; and The Jort, a ’90s-inspired skater short that hits just above the knee.
One of Gray’s favorite items is a big, oversized faux fur coat that reminds her of life in New York City. “A statement fur elevates any outfit. You can wear it at night or to spice up a simple look when you’re feeling lazy. Sometimes, all you need is that one standout coat.” And standout it is—the Amelia coat is made from faux shearling, offering cozy warmth with a modern shape, perfect for winter. Another favorite is the Nightcap bomber jacket, a sporty, lightweight layer inspired by vintage pieces from her own closet.
What else is in the collection? Unisex baggy jeans that can be paired with ballet flats or shared between partners; matching checkered mini skirt sets; a studded belt; and ultra-wearable cotton tunics and tanks that can be worn alone or layered. Gray added, “It feels like I’m opening up my closet to everyone, which is really exciting. I can’t wait to see how people react and style the pieces. There’s truly something for everyone.”
The campaign was photographed by Chris Colls in New York and styled by Gray’s longtime creative partner, Mel Ottenberg. The collection will be available at Frame stores, on frame-store.com, and at The Webster, with prices ranging from $128 to $1,998. Shop it exclusively on Vogue 24 hours before the official launch.
