Dogue is back and better than ever! We’re thrilled to announce the second edition of the Dogue competition, where one lucky pup will earn their very own digital Dogue cover—appearing alongside some of our favorite celebrity dogs on August 18, 2026.
Last year, Dogue took the internet—and the Vogue office—by storm, with 56,749 absolutely adorable entries. The judging process was intense, as Vogue colleagues fiercely debated why their favorite dog deserved to be the 2025 Dogue cover star. In the end, we crowned the amazing Tango as our winner—a brown and white dog whose elegant pose on an upholstered armchair won over the hearts, minds, and aesthetic sense of our panel.
But Tango’s reign is coming to an end as we begin the search for this year’s cover star. We’re looking for a dog with that special something—after all, a million hounds would love this job.
We’ll judge entries based on photo composition (50%), the dog’s personality shown in the photo (25%), and overall “dogueness” (25%). Our esteemed judges include Chloe Malle (Head of Editorial Content, U.S. Vogue), Raul Martinez (Global Creative Director, Vogue), Parker Hubbard (Global Design Director), Ignacio Murillo (Global Talent Casting Director), Samantha Sussman (Global Director, Social, Vogue), and Virginia Smith (Global Head of Fashion Network).
Applying is easy: just download the Vogue app, go to the Dogue x Open Casting form, and follow the instructions to submit your favorite photo of your dog (make sure they look great!) between now and August 4. From there, anything is paws-ible.
