Forget tomato girl summer—this was Alex Consani’s Portofino spring. The backdrop? Pucci’s Spring 2025 show, where the Italian brand, led by Camille Miceli, transformed the 14th-century La Cervara abbey into a runway, complete with sweeping views of the Golfo del Tigullio.
Consani walked the show at sunset on Friday alongside icons like Karen Elson, Kristen McMenamy, and Naomi Campbell. She wore a ’60s-inspired black mini dress with a dreamy pink Pucci print, paired with intricate gladiator sandals that screamed Italian leisure.
True to Italian style, she Facetimed with Aperol spritzes, cigarettes, and Pucci-print bandanas in hand.
The model made the most of her time in Portofino. “It’s amazing!” she told *Vogue*. “I’ve been hanging with friends—Karen Elson, my queen Lulu Tenny, Felice, and the rest of the girls. Swimming, shopping, a real vacation!”
Consani gave *Vogue* a peek into her trip: starting in her hotel room, lounging in a teal and cobalt Pucci bikini with a gold belly chain and gray sweats. A taxi ride with fellow models was soundtracked by Charli XCX’s *Party 4 U*, while rehearsals happened on a sun-drenched terrace with stunning coastal views. Between takes, she joked around on an ice cream bike: “Want two scoops? Sorry, we only serve Pucci.”
Far from the chaos of fashion month, Consani called the Pucci show “one of the most relaxed I’ve ever done.”
Under Miceli, Pucci’s shows have brought the brand’s vibrant prints and colors to iconic Italian spots—from the Arno River to Capri’s carnival and Saint Moritz’s ski slopes. This time, Portofino’s dinners and cocktail parties stretched late into the night, packed with local food, Aperol spritzes, and dancing. “So much tea, laughs, drinks,” Consani said, “and pasta—because, Italy!”
Her pasta of choice? “Pesto! I’d eat it daily if it always tasted this good.”
Summing up her Italian getaway, Consani described her mood: “Laughing in a big hat with a Birkin full of sand.” *Grazie mille, bella!*
