“I can’t believe I’m the one explaining this to someone!” Jennifer Aniston says with excitement during our Zoom call. We’ve been talking about the Oura ring, which tracks health data, and she’s enthusiastically walking me through her workout stats—even showing me how to set it up and understand the numbers. “Don’t you just have a love-hate relationship with this thing?”
I do. Aniston, famous for her sculpted abs and toned arms, also admits that when her Oura ring gives her a low “Readiness Score” (its way of rating how well-rested and recovered you are), only one thing fixes her mood: an intense Pvolve workout. “It makes me feel like even if my sleep was terrible, I can still crush it with my activity during the day,” she says. Today, her score is an impressive 90 out of 100.
We’re chatting about a controversial topic: working out while on vacation. Aniston is firmly in the “yes, do it” camp but admits, “it’s the hardest thing to actually follow through.” That’s why she loves Pvolve’s new Sculpt Anywhere bundle—a set of five portable exercise tools she swears by. “When I traveled for movies, I’d always have to hunt down a gym, and sometimes the hotel didn’t even have one. It felt impossible to stay consistent, but with these, you can squeeze in a workout anywhere, even in a tiny space.”
Just because she’s committed to staying active on the go doesn’t mean she enjoys every second. There’s one move she dreads: “Ugh, the slant board! Especially with ankle weights—it’s brutal because it tests your balance and core. It’s a monster. Sometimes, I just look at it and feel defeated. But then I remind myself how insanely effective it is.”
Another debate? Checking a bag versus carry-on. “When I travel with my friend Courtney [Cox], she shows up with this tiny suitcase, while I’m over here packing like I need options for every scenario. But then she’ll forget something, and luckily, I’ve basically packed for two people.” Plus, it helps fit her Pvolve gear.
