Last year, the world was captivated by the grandeur of Indian weddings, especially the lavish celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant that took over social media. Whether it’s an intimate beach ceremony or a grand five-star affair, Indian weddings always stand out for their meticulous attention to detail and deep cultural significance.

This August, Vogue Wedding Atelier, presented by HSBC, makes its debut in India—an exclusive, invite-only event bringing together the country’s top bridal designers, high jewelry brands, and luxury specialists under one roof. Hosted by Vogue India from August 8 to 10 at New Delhi’s iconic Taj Palace, the showcase promises an unparalleled experience.

Renowned designer Manish Malhotra, whose creations are adored by stars from Deepika Padukone to the Kardashians, will offer guests a glimpse into his creative world. “Bridal fashion is about emotion, tradition, and personal expression,” he says. “You’ll see exquisite lehengas, refined sherwanis, and exclusive pieces crafted just for this event—each reflecting the finest craftsmanship.” His high jewelry collection, featuring statement necklaces, brooches, and collar pins, will also be on display.

Fresh from his moving Paris Couture Week show, Gaurav Gupta is set to dazzle with his sculptural designs. “Brides will witness our signature drapes, intricate embroideries, and a modern twist on Indian bridalwear,” he shares. “Expect art nouveau-inspired details and our bestselling saris and gowns.”

The legendary duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla will showcase their mastery of embroidery, blending heritage techniques with contemporary flair. Meanwhile, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, fresh off his spectacular 25th-anniversary show featuring Christy Turlington, will present a curated selection of high jewelry.

A major highlight is the debut of Elie Saab’s ready-to-wear bridal collection in India. Known for its red-carpet glamour, the Lebanese label will unveil an India-inspired edit, including a stunning rani-pink gown and veil that pay homage to the country’s vibrant hues.

Meenakari virtuoso Sunita Shekhawat will display her timeless jewelry, celebrating craftsmanship and Indian artistry. “It’s a joy to connect with those who appreciate luxury and tradition,” she says. Joining her is Ahmedabad-based label Shyamal & Bhumika, adding their unique vision to the showcase.

This is more than an event—it’s a celebration of India’s rich bridal heritage, reimagined for the modern era.”This platform beautifully showcases the finest in wedding design and style, and we’re delighted to connect with couples who value timeless craftsmanship, luxury, and custom artistry.”

For the discerning bride, the Vogue Wedding Atelier, presented by HSBC, will feature exclusive collections from designers such as Ritika Mirchandani and Aisha Rao, alongside exquisite high jewelry from renowned brands like Khanna Jewellers, Rare Heritage, and Mehta & Sons X Anjali Bhimrajka Fine Jewels. A specially curated sari pavilion will highlight India’s rich heritage of handcrafted textiles, with pieces from Dareeab by Sonia K Mahajan, Kanakavalli, Naina Jain, and Patola by Nirmal Salvi.
