The third volume of “Love” by Femxphotographers.org is set to be released this fall, delving into the multifaceted nature of love. This publication, created by a group of female-identifying and non-binary artists working with photography, aims to explore love beyond its traditional romantic associations. Drawing inspiration from bell hooks’ concept of love as a fundamental and political force, the book showcases love in various forms – romantic and non-romantic, between families, friends, strangers, and even different species. Through a collection of black and white works by both core members and guest artists, the book seeks to challenge conventional notions of love and promote solidarity within the artistic community. Join us on a journey through the lens of these talented artists as they redefine and expand our understanding of love in its many manifestations.
