Blake Lively has been embracing bold fashion choices on recent red carpets. During the press tour for her latest film A Simple Favor, she wore a latex dress reminiscent of Lady Gaga’s style, a fringed David Koma coat dress, and a classic Chanel skirt suit—with her own twist, of course.

At the 2025 TIME 100 Gala in New York on April 24, she stepped out in a blush pink Zuhair Murad gown from the Spring/Summer 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The strapless dress featured a draped, corseted bodice that flowed into a soft fishtail skirt with a trailing train. She accessorized with turquoise stone earrings, a matching cocktail ring, and beaded bracelets in similar hues. Her hair was styled in loose, brushed-out curls with a soft side part, and she wore a delicate gold leaf-stamped manicure. The look was ultra-feminine and dramatic—fitting for prom season.

Though she wasn’t there to claim a prom queen crown, she was celebrating her inclusion in TIME’s list of the 100 most influential people.

Lively attended the gala at Jazz at Lincoln Center with her husband, Ryan Reynolds. The couple walked the red carpet together, sharing their usual playful moments before Reynolds stepped aside to let Lively shine solo in photos.

Known for styling herself, Lively has a signature red carpet approach—whether it’s sexy Versace couture, Chanel knits, Stella McCartney suits, or romantic Tamara Ralph gowns. This Zuhair Murad dress, with its structured bodice and vintage Vivienne Westwood-inspired aesthetic, felt like a return to her glamorous event style—with a prom-night twist.

Other honorees at the gala included Demi Moore, Serena Williams, Kristen Bell, Scarlett Johansson, Nicole Scherzinger, and Simone Biles.

During her speech, Lively acknowledged the weight of being called “influential” in today’s world. “How we use that influence matters—who and what we stand up for, what we stay silent about, what we monetize versus what we truly live by,” she said. She credited her mother, Willie Elaine McAlpin, as her biggest inspiration, calling her a “survivor of the worst crime someone can commit against a woman.”

While Lively has largely avoided public speaking amid her legal dispute with It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni, she briefly alluded to personal struggles. “I have so much to say about the last two years of my life, but tonight is not the forum,” she shared.

She went on to celebrate resilience, saying, “I know the superpower of female triumph. I’ve touched it, shaken hands with it. I see it in this room tonight. These are the happy endings women and girls need to witness. We survive—physically, emotionally—and we thrive. Even when it feels impossible. Even in sharp pain. Never underestimate a woman’s ability to endure. Life’s just a bowl of cherries.”
