The opening song from *Wicked*, “No One Mourns the Wicked,” famously declares, “No one mourns the wicked.” But Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo seem to disagree, as shown by their recent appearances at CinemaCon 2025, where they debuted the trailer for *Wicked: For Good*. The pair swapped their usual pink and green for striking all-black ensembles, as if mourning the approaching end of the Oz-inspired franchise.

Styled by Jason Bolden, Erivo wore a look from Alaïa’s spring 2025 collection—a sheer black hooded top paired with sheer pants and a ruffled miniskirt overlay. She accessorized with bold gold jewelry, including chunky bracelets and hoop earrings linked by delicate chains. Instead of the runway’s heeled thong sandals, she chose sleek black pumps.

Meanwhile, Grande opted for a black strapless dress by Emporio Armani, styled by Mimi Cuttrell. The design featured a velvet drop-waist corset and a voluminous skirt with alternating sheer and opaque panels. She completed the look with a diamond-adorned choker and, like Erivo, classic black pumps.

With just 231 days until the sequel arrives (not that anyone’s counting), we’re sure Grande and Erivo will deliver plenty more stylish moments on the press tour. Will they return to their signature pink and green, or stick to the dark, dramatic theme? Only time will tell.
