Earth Partner, the sustainability division of Art Partner, together with the Global Environment Facility (GEF), has announced the winners of the 2025 Earth Partner Prize. This competition invited artists aged 14 to 30 to submit artwork exploring climate and environmental issues from diverse perspectives, aiming to raise awareness and inspire action ahead of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP 30), held from November 10 to 21, 2025.

Artists from over 110 countries participated, sparking conversations on topics ranging from eco-anxiety and community transformation to rethinking waste and the contrast between devastation and hope. Their works are featured in a virtual exhibition by Voyager360, highlighting Earth Partner’s commitment to amplifying global voices often overlooked in artistic and climate discussions. As GEF CEO and Chairperson Carlos Manuel Rodríguez emphasized, the exhibition “showcases imaginative voices from communities whose experiences are vital to understanding and addressing environmental challenges.”

The winners of this edition are Apah Benson, Abandokht Tohidi Moghadam, Kyaw Zay Yar Lin, Yi Song, Ruby Okoro, Igor Furtado and Labō Young, Andreu Esteban Sebastiá, and Tianxiao Wang. Thanks to the partnership with GEF, a selection of their works was displayed at the Climate Funds pavilion during the COP in Belém, Brazil.

– 3rd Place ($2,000 each): Yi Song (China & UK), for “ARCHIVE OF FRAGILITY”; Ruby Okoro (Nigeria), for “CIRCULAR HEROES”; Igor Furtado and Labō Young (Brazil), for “ISLAND TIME FORGOT”; Andreu Esteban Sebastiá (Spain), for “WITHOUT WARNING”; and Tianxiao Wang (China & UK), for “THE SEA SUSTAINS US”

The artists were chosen by a distinguished jury including Hans Ulrich Obrist (Artistic Director of The Serpentine and President of the Jury of the Venice Architecture Biennale), Carlos Manuel Rodríguez (CEO and Chairperson of GEF), Ferdinando Verderi (Creative Director), Marina Testino (Director of Strategic Partnerships, Earth Partner), Orsola de Castro (Co-Founder of Fashion Revolution), Zhuo Tan (Event Director of Design Shanghai and Design China Beijing), and Giovanni Testino (Founder of Art Partner).

In addition, the jury awarded 20 Honourable Mentions and the inaugural Earth Partner Impact Award ($2,500) to Instituto Afro-Aurora Dance (Brazil) for their project “DANÇA PAJÉ: FAVELA ANCESTRAL,” recognizing the project that best demonstrates the power of environmental art within communities.
