Dua Lipa launched her Sunny Hill festival in Kosovo with plenty to celebrate. The pop star recently received Kosovo citizenship, a milestone she described as uniting her two identities. “It feels like my two sides are now one,” she said. “This completes the duality I’ve always felt inside. I love this country, and this means everything to me and my family.”
During the citizenship ceremony led by President Vjosa Osmani, a children’s choir performed Lipa’s hit “Levitating.” She wore a sleek chocolate-brown leather mini dress by Ferragamo, paired with Paris Texas pumps and a red shoulder bag.
Then came three days of festivities at Sunny Hill, where Lipa brought her signature festival style. In one snapshot chatting with a fan, she sported a black-and-white Sunny Hill graphic tee, frayed denim shorts, a Chrome Hearts belt, and her go-to Miu Miu buckle boots.
Lipa headlined Friday night’s lineup, sharing the stage with acts like Shawn Mendes, Fatboy Slim, and Peggy Gou. Her outfits mirrored the bold glam of her Radical Optimism tour—think custom Attico minis, Jean Paul Gaultier bustiers, and a showstopping Chanel bodysuit inspired by Christy Turlington’s ’90s looks. For Sunny Hill, she dazzled in a silver-and-white corset by Dilara Fındıkoğlu and a glittery burgundy bodysuit with tassels.
After her performance in Prishtina, she shared on Instagram: “Sharing this night with you all, in the city that shaped me, surrounded by so much energy, joy, and pride…it’s hard to put into words what it means.”
Lipa co-founded the festival in 2018 in her parents’ hometown to reshape perceptions of Kosovo beyond its war-torn past. In 2022, she was named an honorary ambassador for her cultural advocacy.
Post-performance, she partied hard, posting snapshots of her festival looks. One photo with fiancé Callum Turner showed her in a striped Prada polo and shorts set, her trusty Miu Miu boots, and a Chanel bucket bag (because even at a festival, a Chanel ambassador stays committed). Other outfits included loose jeans with silver Pumas and a sleek Rabanne dress with Saint Laurent sunglasses.
Lipa’s summer has been a whirlwind of tour stops and jet-setting. In London, she and Turner caught Stevie Wonder’s Hyde Park show in laid-back denim. In Paris, she switched between effortless shirts-and-jeans combos and dramatic Schiaparelli looks. A girls’ trip to Mallorca featured tiny bikinis, sheer dresses, and plenty of sunshine.
It’s Dua Lipa’s world—we’re just living in it.
