It’s summer, and awards season is over, but Anya Taylor-Joy is still keeping the naked dressing trend alive. This time, though, she took it to the next level by showing off a “naked shoe.”

The actor spoke at Miley Cyrus’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on May 22, where she gave a speech to kick off the event.

“Miley didn’t just grow up in front of the world; she surpassed every expectation set for her,” Anya Taylor-Joy told the crowd. “She challenged the rules, rewrote them, and every now and then, set them on fire while wearing a teddy bear costume.”

Taylor-Joy said Cyrus “never asked for permission to evolve,” and instead did it “beautifully, unapologetically, and always, always authentically.”

“Miley, darling, you’ve always been a star, and now you literally are one. Thank you for shining so brightly for all of us,” she added.

Taylor-Joy wore a sparkling silver Bob Mackie gown: an archival halter dress made of crystal and white satin with bugle-bead fringe and a razorback design, originally from the 1990 resort collection. On her feet, she wore barely-there sandals with a clear perspex strap to hold them in place.

She was joined by her husband, Malcolm McRae. Donatella Versace was also among the special guests. (She chose a white Versace mini-dress with bold, gold-embellished shoulders and white go-go style platform boots.)
